In 1986 I moved to Adelaide and took my Satellite with me. Got defected for the scoop and had to reverse it to get it cleared even had the two coppers arguing with each other as to the legality of my twin 2 1/2 inch exhaust system...

Drove it until early 1988 when we moved to our own place and I decided to replace the chipped windscreen and fix a few things. Took seven months to get the windscreen and by that time I had sold the 400 and trans and started to strip the paint off the firewall to investigate a rust patch.
At the All Chrysler Day in 1988 I saw a Jag with a 360 fitted to it and me being me I thought "I wonder if the Jag front end will fit the Plymouth?" Grabbed a tape measure and wow the sub frames were the the same width. Found a low mile XJ6 Series III complete front end in the Trading Post and that started the long term restorification of my Satellite.
